Who even is Dawn of the Dog?

Dawn of the dog was created in mid 2022 by Brytney Dawn (me!) at the time I was working full time as a boarding manager at a large scale boarding facility and had been there for 9 years, before that I was a canine handler at another boarding facility for 3 years. At this point I had spent most of my adult life working with animals professionally and found myself growing tired of the routine, turnover rate and didn't agree with how a lot of things operated when working in those environments. I soon began pet sitting as a side hobby, and found myself loving it. I saw how much more pets flourish when in a comfortable home environment, and are interacting daily with the same person building a bond versus multiple employees. What started as a hobby soon grew exponentially and in order to continue pet sitting I had to resign from my almost decade long career. It was the best decision I ever made.

A little about me! Your future pet sitter

I've always been eccentric, artsy, and love to incorporate my personality into everything I touch. When I'm not pet sitting I enjoy watching movies, videogames, painting, photography, modeling, scrapbooking, cooking, cosmetology, forensics, biology, birdwatching, hiking, thrifting, refurbishing antiques, and last but not least I enjoying a nice charcuterie board with some wine!
